Request a Free Presentation On How We Will Market and Sell Your Home. Remember, All Real Estate Agents Are NOT Alike. A "Listing Presentation" is an industry term for the formal presentation that a real estate agent makes to prospective home sellers, trying to earn their trust and business. Don't list your home with a real estate agent without it! We would love the opportunity to make such a presentation to you. We'll visit your Montgomery County, Rockville, and Clarksburg home, and together we will walk through it, considering the positives and negatives (if any!). You will then see exactly how we would propose to sell your home, for as much as the market will bear, and within your time frame. We will tell you where we will advertise your home, both in print and on the web. With the dramatic growth in homebuyer usage of the web, you MUST have a top real estate agent that can extensively market your home online! And you'll find out what your Montgomery County, Rockville, and Clarksburg home is worth, because part of our presentation will include a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) of your home. We'll compare your home to others like it in Montgomery County, Rockville, and Clarksburg that have recently sold, and also to others that are currently for sale. This is a very important way of determining the fair market value of your home. We make free presentations and prepare CMAs for prospective home sellers every day. We've literally done hundreds, and we know exactly what puts a big SOLD sign in your front yard. We'd love the chance to make a presentation for you. It is totally free and without any obligation. Call us! Or fill out this form... Yes, you can request a FREE in-home presentation of how we would market your property in Montgomery County, Rockville, and Clarksburg! We do these presentations for people all the time. It's our job! There's no obligation, and we'll get back to you quickly...
First Time Buyers >Good Faith Estimates
Several years ago the U.S. Congress tried to protect consumers from a few unscrupulous lenders by requiring all lenders to calculate and disclose the annual percentage rate (APR) you pay on your mortgage loan. But most homebuyers will learn more by directing their attention to the Good Faith Estimate of Settlement Costs (GFE). Although Congress meant well, in practice the APR is not helpful and may be confusing.
If you are looking for a good way to understand your costs of borrowing and/or to compare one lender's costs to another, the GFE is your best bet. Get your lender(s) to provide a written GFE before you commit your mortgage business. When reviewing a GFE, keep in mind that the lender actually controls only a certain portion of the disclosed costs. Other parties typically control costs of appraisal, settlement, title insurance, recording fees and taxes, survey, and the "prepaid" expenses of homeowner's insurance, mortgage insurance, real estate taxes, etc. Review these origination fees, discount points, etc. and you will have the ability to understand the full costs of your proposed mortgage loan.
